Wine shop

The wine shop and tasting room is located under the distinctive tower in the courtyard of the historic Geilweilerhof.

Here you can taste wines from new and traditional grape varieties on the spot. You will have the opportunity to taste wines from grape varieties that are too new to have a varietal name and are sold under their breeding identification number.
Groups are welcome to visit the Institute, but advance booking is required. Please note that a charge will be applied for wine tasting.
